The damage that American Idol has done to the music industry is almost irreparable. Nowadays most of the young people that audition for music-related gigs have a very similar timbre, tone, and physical appearance. Luckily, our judge Gerson doesn’t fit in with the usual archetype of obnoxious panelist that we usually find in this kind of reality show and demands some extra effort from Katrina Moreno. A novel approach that all those shows should adopt.
