General Impression
I had high expectations for this film, but was sadly disappointed. Although I didn’t really find cover girl Valentine Demy all that attractive, some of the other women on the back cover (particularly Federica and Sheila Stone,) along with my high opinion of Italian women and slightly older women in general, made me decide on Italian Mammas. But what I got were mechanical sex scenes and a terribly annoying dubbed soundtrack. I mean, Italian is possibly the sexiest language around, and I at least expected these women to increase their hotness by speaking it; instead, even the best scenes were spoiled by fake-sounding English-language dubs.
Sex Highlights
I actually liked the first scene with Sheila Stone, which takes place in a doctor’s office, as Sheila looks pretty good with her black hair and tattoos, and she there’s plenty of anilingus and attention to her pussy from the get go. There’s some nice anal fucking as well, until the guy supposedly cums in her ass: when he pulls out Sheila lets what looks to be milk slip out, before he licks some up and feeds it to her. In any case, there is no way that was cum—what a letdown!
After Sheila, we get a decent (if mechanical) scene with the attractive Angela Gritti, and then one with redhead Antonella del Lago (who just wasn’t my type). The fourth scene is a MFF threesome with Angela Gritti again Stella Folliero and, but it all just seems too staged for me. I mean, Private tries hard to create a mood—we see the women at dinner or on the street, etc.—, but the sex just falls flat.
Federica, a nice looking blond housemaid in fishnets with (gasp!) a full bush, gives us a nice scene with some hot BJs and great anal action, ending in a cumshot on her pubic hair. By far the best scene on the DVD, but I still don’t see any chemistry between the performers. Valentine closes out the film with a MMF threesome in the gym.
On the plus side, there’s lots of anal throughout, and the women all have nice thighs and more “mature” bodies (although I think most of them are probably only a little over 30 at most, which is just fine with me). There’s also a wide variety of cum shots, so at least we get to see something other than facials.
Negatives
The sex just wasn’t good and the women weren’t that attractive. I might have been able to deal with these shortcomings if the film were actually in Italian, but the dubbing just added to its artificial quality. All of the women had similar bodies, too: trim pubic area (except for Federica) and larger breasts. Some more variety would have been nice. They also could have worked in some typically Italian images into the scenes as well.
Summary
Italian Mammas looked like it had great potential, but fell short on many accounts. I would only recommend it if you find some of the performers particularly attractive.
